Hi, my name is Pierre Val. I am the seating treasurer of NJCIS. As a deacon at Mount Olive Church of God, I’ve had the privilege of helping a lot of people in my church family with a lot of easy tasks(easy for me but hard and even impossible for them at time).The process of filling out a job application, getting a car registered to go to work, navigating the social security system ,to name a few, could be challenging for some members of our community. While thinking about setting up a team to address the issue, I got invited to NJCIS, an organization with the mission of doing just that and even more. I am very happy to be on board with a group of people who shares the same vision and is willing to extend their work to communities throughout the state of NJ and beyond.
